BBQ Tips For A Summer Cookout

Summer is here, and that means it’s time to fire up the grill and gather friends and family for some good ol’ BBQ! Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned pitmaster, these seven tips will help make your cookout the talk of the town.

  1. Be Prepared

There’s nothing more disheartening than getting ready to grill only to find out you’re out of propane. The night before your shindig, make sure your meat is thawed, utensils are clean, and you’ve got plenty of propane or charcoal. A handy checklist will ensure everything’s in order, so your guests aren’t left hanging and you can enjoy a stress-free cookout.

  1. Master the Marinade

The secret to mouthwatering BBQ lies in the marinade or dry rub. Generously apply your marinade and let it soak for a few hours before grilling. This will give your BBQ that deep, rich flavor that keeps folks coming back for more. Need some inspiration? Check out our online store for a variety of marinades and dry rubs that’ll make your meat sing.

  1. Use a Timer and Meat Thermometer

You’ve put in all that effort, don’t let it go to waste by overcooking your BBQ. Regularly check your meat with a thermometer and use a timer to ensure it’s cooked to perfection. Your guests will thank you for those juicy, tender bites.

  1. Let Your Meat Rest

As soon as the meat comes off the grill, it’s tempting to dive right in. But hold your horses! Tent your meat with aluminum foil and let it rest for about 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, making each bite as tender and flavorful as possible.

  1. Don’t Skimp on the Sides

While your BBQ is the star, the sides are the supporting cast that can make or break the meal. Think creamy mac & cheese, roasted corn on the cob and tangy coleslaw. 1. Toppings Galore

Great toppings elevate great BBQ to legendary status. Offer a variety of cheeses, veggies and sauces. Imagine heirloom tomatoes, pickled jalapenos, blue cheese and our signature tangy BBQ sauce. Your guests will notice the extra effort and love you for it.

  1. Prioritize Your Guests’ Experience

The best food in the world won’t matter if your guests aren’t comfortable. Ensure there’s plenty of seating, bug spray and sunscreen. Add a little ambiance with string lights and a Bluetooth speaker and you’re set for an unforgettable evening.

With these tips, your cookout will be the talk of the town, and your guests will be raving for weeks! Happy barbecuing, y’all!
